Save Cycling! Contact Congress Before It Is To Late

Congress is still in conference committee discussing the final Transportation Bill and programs that fund bicycle and pedestrian facilities are still on the chopping block.  Don’t let Congress turn back the clock twenty years by eliminating our funding.

There is still time to contact your member and ask them to support bicycle and pedestrian funding in the final bill.  If you are represented by Congressmen Bill ShusterLou BarlettaPatrick MeehanTim HoldenJason Altmire it is doubly important that you contact your representative because they sit on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.  Congressman Bill Shuster sits on the conference committee and has come out publicly opposing continued bicycle funding.  Let him know that this is issue is important.

Our friends at Transportation for America have an easy to use tool that will help you contact your representative.   Please take a moment and let your representative know that this issue is important and we don’t want to see our funding cut.  You can find the tool here.
